CLC Junior Program (7-11yos)

Learning by Doing. Growing with Joy

2025-26 Year - Thursdays and Fridays

9:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.

Here is what the daily schedule for the young set might look like:

 9:45 a.m.       Morning Paper Time

 10:15 a.m.       Science or Group Challenge

 11:00 a.m.       Self-Direction Time (Set Intentions)

 11:45 p.m.      Lunch, Classic Read Aloud Time

 12:15 p.m.       Group Challenge or History

 1:00 p.m.         Clean-Up/Reflections

 1:15 p.m.         Self-Direction Time

1:45 p.m. Pick-up Time

10:15-11:00 a.m., 12:15-1:00 p.m.

Science or Group Challenge

Each attendee will engage in the learning activity offered. It will rotate between any kind of academic subject such as history, science, reading, engineering, STEM, English, etc. These are hands-on learning opportunities that should be able to be extended beyond the time into the next project learning time.

11:00-11:45 p.m., 1:15-1:45 p.m.

Self-Directed Learning

Each attendee will get to share an Offering with the group, and then each attendee will set their Intention on what they want to pursue. It may flow from what precedes this time, expand from it, or deviate completely to something entirely new that interests them. Some of the activities has been building a club house, exploring the creek, playing or interacting with animals, playing kickball, doing crafts, and much more.

10:15 noon - 1:15 p.m. Volunteer/Entrepreneur/Animal/

Homesteading (2026)

Each attendee will have an opportunity to be involved in a volunteer project that connects them to their community, build skills around entrepreneurship, or dive deeper into the homesteading (including animals) available on site. This will happen once every two-weeks, alternating days.
